Dusting this one off to see if I could still play it. I tabbed Like a Bird a while back and recently received James HIll’s permission to share it. This is a slightly different arrangement than the original version AND IT IS IN C TUNING. James recorded it in D tuning or ADF#B.

Cool as. I rated this 5 stars but my big fingers on my ipad missed and made it look like 4. It was 5 in my heart…

Thanks a lot to offer me work through the ocean…
How funny it is to reduce this big world by internet.
Nice tune I didn’t know, and of course, great job!

Looks to me as though you’re still a bad ass….. Big hello from London. Is the tab really for this tune? I cant find any bits that sound anywhere near like it. Help !

The tab is a really excellent arrangement and sounds very close to the original. James Hill is one of the best players in the world so his version may sound a little different to the way that you or I play it.

I have faith in the tabs, just know where to start. Does this tab have any of Assam in it ? I think that was my error. Thanks

No, none at all.

Thanks everyone. And thanks, Ken.
Mark, yes the TAB is for the second song only. And it also helps to be handy with clawhammer technique to play this tune.

This is is ace! Thanks a lot. I’ve been learning the clawhammer technique but I’m not sure how it translates to this tab. When should I be doing the strokes on the 1st three strings? Cheers
